Situation & Outlook Roadshow 2009

Following on from the “Making the Most of it” and the “DairyLive” forums WestVic Dairy is endeavouring to ensure that our regions dairy-farmers and service providers are kept up to date with emerging data and trends to help them manage the challenging trading conditions in our Dairy industry. This is part of our commitment to you after the shock of the milk price drop in the summer and the lower than 2008 opening price that will be paid for your milk this year as a result, mainly, of the global financial crisis.

Across July 15-16 WestVic Dairy in conjunction with Dairy Australia held four Situation & Outlook Forums across the south-west. The forums covered International and Domestic Markets, recent survey results from Dairy Australia, and the Outlook for the future, Nationally and Regionally. This information was delivered to you by specialists from Dairy Australia, providing you with the latest information regarding our industry.

These information sessions were delivered at no cost to you; it’s your levy at work extending the best information to you in a timely manner.
